Over 100 European Jewish leaders, including a delegation from the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine gathered in Portugal’s Porto for the EJA Annual Conference, "Shaping the Future of European Jewry Together" 

The conference showcased themes: the fight against antisemitism and the importance of education in preventing its spread. With the rise of antisemitic incidents in recent years, it is crucial to address this issue and work towards creating a safe environment. 

We have recognized the critical importance of education in addressing biased perceptions and prejudice. By equipping young minds with knowledge and empathy, we can lay the foundation for a more inclusive and respectful society, promoting understanding and tolerance.

The conference provided a platform for lively discussions, insightful presentations, and meaningful collaborations. Participants shared their experiences, challenges, and successful strategies, fostering a sense of unity and determination to combat antisemitism in all its forms.

“We are one community undivided by borders. When we speak with one voice, we are stronger together,” said EJA Chairman Rabbi Menachem Margolin.
